How to Get the Most Out of Great Home Entertainment and Communications Gear

By Anna J Sussman

You can have all the best hardware from the high end HDTV, the massive surround sound, and a computer that puts everyone else's in the neighborhood to shame, but it won't help you much if you don't have state of the art technology powering it! I have compared all of the different services out there, and discovered that you can have all of your entertainment in one package, and many companies actually offer this. What I have found though, is that Comcast is the best provider for your digital cable, phone, and internet. The Comcast Triple Play bundle offers all of them, and it saves quite a bit of money. On top of money, it also saves time. This is especially true since you won't have to go to three different places to pay three different bills. If you need an extra perk, just imagine cleaning off your satellite dish every time it snows. With Comcast you won't have to do that.

Digital Cable from Comcast comes with a ton of digital and HD channels. Everything you want and more is included in Comcast's basic and expanded programming tiers. Plus, if you go with Comcast's DVR system you can create your own schedule. Rewind, fast-forward, and pause live TV, so you don't have to miss a single second and save up to 90 hours of your favorite shows and movies for your own mini-marathons. Not only are parents happy with the parental control system, but children think it's fantastic to be able to create a list of their favorite shows for ease of use before watching them later on. And you'll never stand in a long line for the movies again. Unlike satellite or some other cable TV companies, Comcast's On-Demand films and shows are available right away, many in HD. With one click of your controller, your on-demand movie will be starting before the popcorn is done!

If you're tired of your dial up, then why not give Comcast High-Speed Internet a try? You can quickly download movies, games, and send e-mails faster than before. If you're a gamer, then you'll never have to experience a high amount of lag again. If you're worried about your internet being compromised, then fear not. You'll be fully able to defend yourself with the free McAfee security suits, along with all the tools that come with it.

Tired of your phone service? Give Comcast's Digital Voice a try. It's a great phone service and it doesn't cost as much as a landline phone. There are many features like call waiting, forwarding, caller ID, and a plethora of others that you will not be charged for. It is a cheap service, and even so it is reliable. Can you find anything this good elsewhere?

Those who have used Triple Play can attest to it's ability to please. It is one of only a few services that provide all three of the major players. Phone, TV, and Internet all in one package. You will save money, you will save time, and most of all, you'll feel great about your investment. This all sounds wonderful, but in the end it is up to you to make the decision. Figure out what it is you want by comparing the different services. Chances are you will end up back at Comcast.
