I am sure you are saying what the? Inflatable Boats are impressive? Yes they are, they are much better than I remember from the last one I had 10 years ago.
Have to say I was surprised myself to see how much they had improved you have to check them out for yourself.
They now come in various sizes are made really well, they can go pretty much anywhere and the cost is really affordable. Can you imagine that you can actually puncture a bunch of holes in them and they will not loose their air and sink? Its true. They had a demonstration that showed how they are made with air chambers so if one chamber gets punctured the cells next to the one with the hole will not loose air.
They stand behind them too. Some of the companies that make them offer a 5 year warranty if the boat has any defects. If you own one of those big boats and are looking for a Life Boat, you have to see the Inflatables. You can store in under a bench in your boat with no problem.
Another thing I was surprised by was that you can actually stand up in one while it is in the water. The bottoms are hard on some of them now. Back 15 years ago when I bought my last Dinghy, there was no way I would stand up in that when it was in the water because it felt like you would go straight through it. Not these one, it was just like standing on the floor in you house.
As soon as I got home I started browsing around on the internet so see check out the prices I saw at the show versus what was out there. Check out the links below to see the best value that I came across in an Inflatable Boat
I actually put an order in for one, it took about a week to get and I saved money even over what the Boat Show special was and the warranty did not cost me extra. I noticed that many of the people that sell Inflatable Boats were charging extra for the warranty. Who would by a boat without a warranty? To sell it without a warranty and then try to charge me for the warranty is just looking for a way to swindle me out of the $100 premium they charge.
If you want to go in shallow water that has rocks or weeds, you better be looking at an Inflatable Boat because you know as well as I do that your going to have a hard time with a regular boat in waters like that.
They are great for hunting, fishing, birding or just sightseeing. I don't know about you but whenever I have gone hunting, birding a traditional boat like a canoe is a major undertaking. You can be sure that this fall I will be bringing my new Inflatable Boat with me and leaving the canoe at home.
