Cheap Glow Sticks, Should You Get Them?

In today's market, you can find very cheap glow sticks. However, if the manufacturers make error with the quantities of the chemicals that generate light or just low quality chemicals to make cheap glow sticks, then a glow stick will be inferior in brightness or length of glowing. And this is some issue that cannot be comprised with low prices. Shelf life of glow sticks should also be considered before purchasing. Shelf life is approximately 2 years for standard glow sticks and one year for glow necklaces. Therefore the reason for the cheap glow sticks could be that a seller wants to get rid of stale products. So buyers should take with a grain of salt with cheap glow sticks. When it comes to glow products, one should not make decision on prices only.

Glow sticks are perishable products. They are used mostly for one-time. And their prices are very low compared with other party products, with most cheap glow sticks ranging from 20 to 50 cents a piece for the most popular 4" & 6" glow sticks. And they are very easy to use. Simply snap them and they start to glow. Some consumers tend to choose them solely based on price, which is not a wise approach to choose.

Of all glow stick products, the 6" is the most popular. They are very popular among kids as they can be easily bent to get the fun started.

Cheap glow sticks are used for lighting the way in emergency situation. Keep a couple in the car and in the house. They will come in really useful and handy when there is a blackouts or gas leak when it is dangerous to use electrical light.
